HISTORY
MINISTRY
The New Vision History Ministry is conducting a MD voter registration
drive as part of our February celebration of Black History. The
drive begins today, immediately following the 10:30 AM service, and
continues each Sunday in February. For additional information,

TJAG
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Calling all Ladies!! The New Vision TJAG (The Jewels Anointed by God)
Women’s Ministry will continue our road trip on February 10th
from 7:30 PM-9:00 PM in the Pastor’s Conference area. This
year’s theme for Lydia's Corner is “Road Trip—Girlfriends on a
Journey!” We’re focusing on some of our Girlfriends
in the Bible. In February, our next stop will be a visit with Miriam,
the sister of Moses, whose unwavering faith while standing in the
background helped to free an entire Nation! Don’t forget your
Bible, a journal and your Girlfriend Passport Card. Please read
Exodus 2:1-10 and 15:19-21 in advance. If you have questions, contact

NEW
VISION MARRIED AND ENGAGED COUPLES
Join other couples from the Marriage Cafe and attend a
“Sweethearts’ Ball” on Sunday, February 19th, 7 PM
-11 PM, at The Villa in Beltsville, Md. The evening includes
Dinner, Dancing, and Comedian and Ballad singer, Al Johnson.
Tickets are $115 per couple and will be available for purchase
immediately after the 10:30 AM worship service. The final day to
purchase your tickets is next Sunday, February 10th. For

POINT
OF GRACE CHURCH
New Vision! Join Point of Grace Community Church for a Fundraiser event
on next Saturday, February 11th at Wendy's in Laurel, MD
from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM. They need a minimum of 25 patrons in
order to receive 10% of the proceeds from sales during the designated
time. If you are in the area, please stop by; or if you have
family or friends in the area, please ask them to support this event by
getting the word out. Information is available on the flyer in
the rear of the sanctuary, or you may contact Christine Johnson at

TPHAS
RETREAT
Teens/Parents, the JAM Teen Ministry at First Baptist Church of
Highland Park has invited the TPHAS Teens to attend their 2012 Winter
Teen Retreat, in Skycroft, MD, February 24th – 26th, and the cost
is $90. The full payment is due today. For more

CONTRIBUTION
STATEMENTS
The 2011 Contribution Statements are now available. Please see
the greeters to pick yours up after service.

DIRECTORY
All New Vision Members! Today
is the last day to pick up your Church Directory in the rear of the
sanctuary immediately following the 10:30 AM worship service. One
directory per household is allowed. Please submit all changes to the
church office. Stay tuned for information on creating a pictorial
directory in the near future. If you have any questions, please
contact the church office.
VISITATION
MINISTRY
If you know of a New Vision member or a family member who has been
hospitalized; is sick & shut in; or have other special
circumstances (e.g., new birth, death in family), and they are in need
of a visit from the Visitation Ministry, please contact the church
office or send an email to visitation@nvision.org. For general

MID-WEEK
BIBLE STUDY
The Mid-Week Bible Study class is held in the sanctuary each
Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM – 8:15 PM. We are studying
The Book of John. The weekly assignments can be found on the

WATCHERS
The new 2012 plan is here! Come in to discover how this plan can
lead you to a new and healthier lifestyle. Be here at 5:30 PM on

During Inclement weather, changes regarding worship services and other
activities will be noted on the New Vision information line at
